Community Guidelines
Useful civic data starts with safe, specific and respectful contributions.
Launch-readiness note: This is a product-policy template, not legal advice. The operator should add its legal name, grievance/contact details and obtain Indian legal review before public launch.
Report safely
- Stop in a safe place before using SadakPulse. Never report while driving.
- Do not enter traffic, trespass or put yourself at risk to take a photograph.
- Use emergency channels—not SadakPulse—when there is immediate danger to life.
Be accurate and specific
- Pin the actual road location and choose a reasonable severity.
- Describe the lane, direction, landmark and safety impact when useful.
- Confirm “Still there” only when you have recent, direct knowledge.
- Marking an issue possibly fixed is a community signal, not an official closure.
Protect people’s privacy
- Avoid identifiable faces, children, vehicle registration numbers and private homes.
- Do not post names, phone numbers, accusations or unrelated personal information.
- Photograph the road condition, not people involved in an incident.
Keep contributions civic and respectful
No harassment, threats, political campaigning, commercial promotion, repeated spam, fabricated evidence or attempts to manipulate road scores. Authority-routing suggestions must be made in good faith and should identify a department relevant to the location and issue.
Moderation
Moderators may reject, hide, merge or label contributions that are unsafe, irrelevant, unverifiable or contrary to these guidelines. Repeated or serious abuse may lead to account restrictions.
